RUN RANDY RUN Plus Buying A Mule and Everything But The Farm (3/4)

I’m back from the hospital, kiddies! Please don’t ask me what happened. Too embarrassing. But hey, at least I’m still alive right? Now where was I and which site was I supposed to review next?

Oh yeah.

Randyrun.com.

I emailed them back asking them about the mule account:

RandyRun Email Inquiry

And some dude named Joris Deckers replied:

RandyRun Email Response

I get to keep the mule account on Cletus’ dime? Awesome! :D

So off I went to phone Cletus and get his PayPal details. After all, he did volunteer to pay for the gold, right?

On with the gold-buying….

Oh this is so annoying!

RandyRun Create New Account

I don’t recall from any of my previous reviews having to create an account just to purchase WoW gold. Isn’t there a way to skip this?

RandyRun Free Cust Acct

Apparently there is no way. Such a hassle. And why would they need my postal address? What’s next? My dental records?

Ah well, what can one do except comply with RandyRun’s excruciating requirements? A gold-selling site critic’s gotta do what a gold-selling site critics’s gotta do.

RandyRun Purchase-1

Hmm, that mule silhouette is missing Juan Valdez. Poor Conchita.

So okay, to be fair it didn’t take me more than a minute to fill out the details they need, but I really don’t feel comfortable giving that much information, especially to a site that blatantly asks for the password to your WoW account! Need I explain my apprehension further in this day of phishing, scamming and identity theft?

RandyRun Purchase-2

The shipping address cracks me up. Unless they’ve devised a way to send VIRTUAL gold to a brick and mortar address, I must insist that they remove this from the order review page. It’s ridiculous and yeah, that’s stating the obvious.

RandyRun PayPal

Cash Run GmbH. Man, they really have a thing for the word "run", which is rather disconcerting, to say the least.

RandyRun Confirmation

Aaaaw, the muted gold shopping bags add a nice touch to their boxed confirmation message. But that won’t matter doodly-squat in the end if they don’t manage to deliver within a decent timeframe!

The waiting game begins…

After reading your post I don’t think I’ll ever order from Randyrun. The delivery fees alone are questionable. Let us know if you find other sites that add these ridiculous charges. I sincerely hope they do give you your mule account and not keep it for themselves so they can use it to farm more gold.

Well, did you get your mule? Did it come with Juan Valdez and a cup of Colombian goodness?

Hmm so for you to have a “safe” transaction with them, you have to pay 15 bucks for a mule account and 15 bucks more every month loading it up? Don’t the know blizz tracks the source of the gold from where it came from regardless of how many times it was traded? There’s a good chance if your gold is deleted, your mule is deleted as well. Good bye Gold payment, Good Bye Mule Payment.

@Dirk Diggler your name sounds familiar.

Hey, you have really NO clue of this business, do you? Moaning around and stuff. Do you have an idea how much Blizzard interrupts this business? They are the ones who scams people. Instead of yelling at other ppl and blaming them for the work they do, try to get your ass away from playing and try to do something like them. They have a plan and you? You are only moaning for nothing. Pathetic.

Kella sweetheart, do you work for Randyrun? Your IP address shows you’re in Germany (unless that’s merely a proxy). And I AM doing something productive. I am helping out my fellow gold buyers determine the best site to order gold from ..and one of them is NOT Randyrun. That’s the purpose of my blog.

    You know you love me.

    XOXO,

    LOL @ Kella.

No. Charging $15 for a “mule”, which normal sites don’t offer, is a scam. You can order more gold for that price instead of a “mule” that does nothing. It’s like buying a subscription from Blizzard but it’s not for your account.

And “MOANING”? Like what? Like having sex or something? You haven’t got laid for a while, have you? LOL.

STOP PLAYING WOW AND JUST CHECK OUT THE GIRLS AROUND YOU. PROBABLY ASK THE ONE NEAREST TO YOU. YOU MIGHT GET YOURSELF LAID.

    Wow, that´s really poor xD
What do you think? A mule account can be created out of nothing? Dude, I guess it is a normal account for which those guys have to pay too! And then comes Blizzard and bans every second…what do you expect? I don´t understand you guys, really xD And save your breath Lestat, those sex jokes are lame xD

Hey I remember sending you that e-mail. :)
So what happened to your order? If you tell me the ordernumber, I can look it up for you.

We need the address information to verify some customers and protect against fraud. And we pay the same price for the mule account’s cd-key, that’s why we charge extra for it. You can’t trade with a trial account so we have to register normal accounts for gold delivery on mule account, they are accessible for 30 days. Once the gold is delivered, you receive the account info so you can transfer the gold to your own character. You don’t have to pay any extra subscription fee for that account unless you want to keep it after the first month is over.

On EU servers we can now deliver face to face so our supplier contacts you ingame to trade the gold, unfortunately they don’t have gold in stock on US servers but we’re working on that by having more suppliers who can deliver with face to face delivery.

Hi Joris, thanks for the comment. But I can’t give you the order number because that would be one way for you to find out my real identity, right? ;D

Hope your service has improved. I mean it.

I use randyrun alot. and it is one of my favorite sites.
I use the “face-to-face” option and everything has gone good so far.
The waiting time was really irregular, but I did recieve my gold withen 48 hours ( maybe once it took a little longer ). And this Joris Decker dude can speak Dutch too .. so the laungage is also good for me..
He was a little cocky.. but i did lke the fact that i recieved emails from a living person rather from an automatic email response thingy xD
But hey, any got any beter sites, im all ears :D

    Sincerly,
    Justcallmepie
