Straight from the Spam Bag: BRBGOLD.COM Can’t Even Get Coupons Right

Ever since the new Patch 4.3 went live, my mailbox has been inundated with more WoW Gold discount and bonus coupons than I could possibly redeem. I’ve farmed out the best ones to Remus, Cletus and all my other friends, and have been left with the sorry dregs.

Leading the worst pile is this spam from Brbgold.com – a name that doesn’t exactly inspire confidence given that being made to wait is one of the worst things you can ask from a WoW Gold buyer.

Thanks very much for your previous support.

What previous support? I’ve never even heard of this site before getting this e-mail. But never mind that. The one thing I can’t get over is that the coupon discount code does not work as promised.

In the e-mail we see a list of WoW Gold prices that do not resemble the ones we get after applying the discount code.

Below you’ll see an order for 10,000 Gold that instead of costing the advertised $12.99 actually ends up costing $14 for 10,000 Gold (at $1.4 per 1,000 Gold)

Some high roller readers might scoff at the $1 differential, but the point here is that if Brbgold.com can screw up something as simple as coordinating a coupon discount, then what other untold disasters await your WoW Gold order (should you be insane enough to buy)?
