It's got its pluses and minuses. I like it that I can chat with my friends who are on different realms. The down side is the loss of some privacy -- I'm one of those people who have low level alts you jump on when you want to escape guild drama, or just don't feel like chatting with anyone. This completely slipped my mind when I said goodbye to my Real ID friends/guildies and told them I had to retire for the night...and I switched to my alt on another server to level it a bit and they were all like, I thought you needed to go to bed!

It is a little bit on the creepy side, but I have to admit, I rather like that I can chat cross faction, cross server and cross game platform. *Shrug* I suppose you just don't friend people, or tell people your battle.net email address unless you want to chat with them any time you're playing.

I kind of like it. I've missed my Hordie friends now that I'm playing Alli.
