It’s realm maintenance time AGAIN! And big-a$$ one at that.
I hate having having my momentum ruined.

Screw the kinder, gentler WoW Gold Facts that Rachel is planning on. Move, girl, this post needs, er, posting!
Bruce Everiss, a self-described veteran games industry marketer and author/owner of the site Bruce On Games , came up with what I would describe as a tour de force of a writeup on the Evony people - the same gang behind Wowmine and all things dubious. I call it such because WHERE AND HOW THE HELL did he dig up the mugshots photos of the Evony staff…particularly that of Eric Lam, my favorite whipping boy???

So that’s what good ol’ Eric looks like! Looking at him I’d never think he’d be capable of doing anything fraudulent . (I also recall Hayden of Mogs.com telling me sometime last year that the Lams "did a huge round of click fraud in September 2007 that took all sites off Google for a very long time" and ended up costing Mogs.com over $13,000!) I mean, come on, he looks like a smart, harmless post grad student who barricades himself in the library reading astrophysics and shit!
Anyway, I am still floored as to how Bruce dug up all that stuff on the Evony gang. I’ll probably never know but this is what I can tell you: Bruce has my support. We need more people like him to expose the scammers plaguing the gaming industry. Oh as for him getting sued by Evony for telling the truth ? Sic your own lawyers on them, buddy!

Kiddies, the WoW Gold Facts Price Comparison page is up!
Now you can check and compare different gold sellers’ prices without having to tab from one site to another. The info you need is all in one convenient page.
Here’s what it looks:
All you have to do is select your game (WoW US or EU), then your realm, faction and finally the amount of gold you’re looking to buy. You’ll then get a list of gold sellers showing their prices for that particular block of gold.
Piece of cake, right?

Okay, so I said there will be a new review and Rachel just told me to "stay the eff out" and let her finish all the drafts. She said she wants a kinder, gentler WoW Gold Facts.

She took a look at the first installment I was about to publish, then smacked my hand and told me not to or else she would murder me.

Oh it’s somewhere out there, kid. It just hasn’t been farmed yet. See, every Chinese supplier is happily on break and celebrating their New Year. They’ve got customer support available though to throw this stupid macros at every anxious customer:
"hi, looks like during the Chinese New Year (Feb 11st to Feb 16), the gold supplying will not be sending instantly probable and it is hard to send the gold now, however, we are trying to search the gold suppliers who keeping working on line, so that means if we have the gold news, whisper you in game directly, thanks for your great understanding"
I swear I didn’t make that one up! Rachel and I followed up on a test order she did the other week and all we got was that sorry excuse of a response. Wondering which site that macros is from? Ha! You’ll know by tomorrow.

Hey kids! The WoW Gold Facts team has a new member and her name is Rachel!
Okay that ain’t really her but her favorite race/class is a Troll Shaman and man, you ought to see her shammy in action. Heals FTW!
For the longest time, Rachel has expressed her interest in joining, seeing how I seem to be having so much fun…and occasionally running into financial problems that don’t allow me to order gold for my next review. And because she has a lot of money a lot of free time and other resources that would help sustain WoW Gold Facts, plus a ton of enthusiasm, she is a fine, fine FINE addition to our team!
She started by doing small admin work, then quit for a bit, then came back to help Cletus with the site maintenance, and pretty soon she’ll write her first review!
Woohoo!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Rachel, for sparing me the expense volunteering to do the next review. I love you like I love Cletus and Remus. You’re one of the boys now! Welcome!!!

Staphylococcus, apart from being such an effing tongue twister, is not my best friend.
However, it chose me to be its best friend last weekend, turning me into a version of the elephant man (my face! my handsome face!)
I’m on steroids. I’m a walking pharmacy. My middle name is Rite-Aid.
My head hurts too.
My good friend and guildie Rachel took over admin duties while I was in the hospital (again), going over my emails and helping Cletus with his HTML mumbo-jumbo. Being rather new to this job, she was shocked to see all the hate mail I received from the Chinese gold sellers I "done wrong". Appalled that I would keep such "atrocious things" for posterity, she promptly deleted them…hell, even the latest one that came in wishing me that I would:
a) Contract a sexually-transmitted disease from a prostitute
b) Get into a car accident
c) Die in a fire
and..
d) Get my account/s banned.
ROFLMAO!!!
I wish she didn’t delete it so I could have fun replying to it. Rachel, my dear, you’ll just have to get used to the death threats. I eat them for breakfast.
So anyhoo, folks, I am still alive, and to those who hate me with a passion, you may cancel whatever parties you scheduled to celebrate my demise….cause EGF is alive and kicking!

Yes, yes, yes! Finally, thank God, Hallelujah, Cletus figured out how to insert a WoW gold price comparison page without screwing up the rest of the site! I suppose the extra $75 I hurled in his direction helped. Jesus, it’s taken months for him to figure that one out (didn’t help he went on several vacations with different chicks and left this project in limbo more times than we wiped in TotC).
He gave me a preview of the page on this test site he put up. Wish I could share it with you guys and get your feedback but unfortunately the site is IP-restricted. Dang!
I know I’ve mentioned a few times about bringing changes to WoW Gold Facts but cost concerns and a distracted Cletus presented many stumbling blocks. Plus, I’ve been really busy with film projects and a bazillion other real-life things, that I had to rethink the maintenance and management of this site. My good friend and guildie Rachel has volunteered to take over some admin tasks and very very VERY sweetly offered to pay for my reviews out of her own pocket. Imagine that!
As much as I hate to admit it — I’m a proud man — I am in need of a little help..no not a little help.. A LOT OF HELP from my friends. Rachel’s volunteering to step in is a welcome first. I’ll introduce her to you guys once she gets settled in. Don’t be surprised if she starts writing her own reviews for this site!

While players are QQing over how the Dungeon Finder has ruined the game by turning it into one big grind-fest for emblems, (I heard that) gold sellers in turn are rejoicing over the fact that it’s become easy for players to acquire tier armor.
Tier armor which need serious gems.
And when your new armor has all those nifty little sockets sorely lacking in gems and you also lack the money for the mats and JC tips, well, what do you do?
You order gold.
So you order gold and then go get your gems. Then you realize, oh my armor needs enchants. But oh the mats in the AH are so expensive.
Screw it, right? You order more gold.
Then in your next Oculus run you get a sweet blue drake mount but you don’t have epic flying yet and you really want to fly that drake so what do you do?
You order gold. Hell yeah, I’m flying that drake, baby!
Then with more casual players outnumbering the hard core raiders and daily quest doers who want certain mats for epic gear (think Crusader Orbs, which sell at the AH for a few hundred each), what do you think these people do in order to catch up gear-score wise?
That’s right, they order gold.
Gold sellers are having a field day.
And JC’s are getting rich across all my realms.
So, reader, if you’re a JC, may I ask how’s business these days?

Blizzard peeps, whatever came with that little patch is causing instances to not load properly, even getting our entire party kicked out. My latency hit 1,400+ ms, affecting my DPS in the process and giving the douchebags I was with the ammo to insult me. (Methinks they were envious that I had the Quel’Delar, Ferocity of the Scorned but that’s just my smug side talking, don’t listen to me).
"Your DPS sucks, l2p!" went Douchebag #1.
"You can’t even do 3K pethetic!" went Douchebag #2 who couldn’t spell.
"Highest GS lowest DPS wtf?" went Douchebag #3.
"Highest GS, lowest DPS because of high latency, you f*cking gay belf," I said.
"F*ck you!" went #3 who happened to be our healer. "F*ck you, you don’t deserve that sword!"
Ah, charming kid. Nothing like Misdirection to teach him a lesson.
Then leaving the party after the dirty deed.
LOL!!!
Anyway, hope your rolling restarts can fix the problem.
