Why hurry up when you can gear yourself with lots of blues/purples first? There are dungeons, quest items, loots where you can have a better item. Heck, you can even craft it yourself. In our group, we don't allow greenies to join our raids because they don't have the right gear for it. Eventhough they have the so-called "talent" to do so, it won't be enough.
