PRE-PATCH 3.3 BLUES: WTB GEMS, ENCHANTS AND COMMON SENSE
Pre-Obsidian Sanctum run with a PUG…
Reminded myself that blue-geared people have downed Yogg-Saron in the past and if they could do it..
Well, the PUG I was in most likely couldn’t.

Saw blues and purples. Mostly blues. Even saw a few greens. I winced.
Their purples had sockets. No gems.
No one except me and the tree and bubble boy knew the fight.
To be fair, most of them did their darnest best, save for one DK who couldn’t dodge the lava wall fast enough — ’cause he was too busy typing "whats next whats next" Told him 4,725 times to go on vent and assured him it was free and that it’d be easier for us to relay instructions. But do you think he listened? Hell no! And this was the same kid who flipped when I rolled for and won the Satchel of Spoils . He said, I need that. I said, well I need it too otherwise I wouldn’t have rolled for it. Kid continued to bitch about my winning it. He’s now on my (growing) ignore list.
We died many times. It wasn’t funny. Armor turned yellow, then red. But we finally downed Sartharion.
I felt sorry for the players who really wanted the achievement. They were a bunch of peeps who kept getting turned away by the gear and achievement snobs in our realm, and they wanted the opportunity to learn the fight and pick up some emblems along the way.I admired their determination and told them I was willing to help them in future raids (except for the Lava Wall-loving DK).
I now feel for the players who are still not geared enough for the upcoming content. Players who have never clapped eyes on the insides of Naxx and Ulduar because the arrogant pr*cks in our realm refuse to carry them. I thought of their gem-less armor. I thought of the guys whose weapons had no enchants.
WTB gems and enchants for these nice people, PST your rates.
Except for the Lava Wall DK. WTB Common Sense (and humility) for him.
Heaven help us in Patch 3.3!

LOL. Why hurry up when you can gear yourself with lots of blues/purples first? There are dungeons, quest items, loots where you can have a better item. Heck, you can even craft it yourself. In our group, we don’t allow greenies to join our raids because they don’t have the right gear for it. Eventhough they have the so-called “talent” to do so, it won’t be enough. Grind or buy gold, damn it.
