BUSY WITH WGF UPGRADE Plus The Joy That Was Naxx

Hey kids, I didn’t post yesterday because I was busy re-categorizing my posts — every single one of them! — in preparation for the site revamp. Besides, the Chinese holiday is just wrapping up so supplies are still somewhat iffy. I promise to continue the last review.

Reader Grace asked me in an email: "EGF, so when is it okay to buy gold again? I don’t want to order if those Chinese aren’t back yet from their vacation."

Grace, I’d say contact the seller of your choice and ask them how long it’ll take them to cough up (insert amount of gold here). Just tell them to be honest with you. Give it a shot. Now if they say "oh we have a large supply, and if you order now you’ll get it soon" and then NOT deliver within the promised timeframe, hell, you tell me and I’ll check them out!

In the meantime, kids, why don’t you check out my Myspace post on the 25-man heroic run in Naxx I did with my guildies ? Talk about good times! Oh the joys!

SERVER STOCK STATUS: NOTHING BUT BS

Look what came in the mail, kiddies:

Stock Status

Yeah right. Like you really have that much gold on hand.

I blocked the gold seller’s name on purpose to protect you curious kittens out there, lest you be tempted to order from them all ’cause they claim to have a truckload of gold ready to be delivered.

Okay, first of all, it’s impossible to hold on to such huge reserves without getting your level 1 delivery toons flagged and your account(s) banned. I know for a fact that gold sellers maintain their own guilds with lowbie members — all  tasked to deliver of course — and don’t really keep all their gold in the bank for fear some turncoat might ninja the money (or worse, the customer might ninja them. Remember my previous posts about how some gold sellers would invite you to their guild so you can withdraw the money yourself?).  There’s also a reason behind the 24-hour delivery ETA of the reliable, no-BS sites — because sellers need to give their suppliers time to farm more (though sometimes a customer will get lucky and order just when they’ve collected a huge batch, and find himself getting his order in less than an hour).

So my question is this: WHERE DO YOU KEEP THE STASH?

Any gold seller care to answer that question?

Correction: any gold seller NOT ON HOLIDAY AND CLAIMING TO HAVE X AMOUNT OF GOLD PER SERVER care to answer that question?

VIVOGAME REVIEW ON ICE

Hey kids, I’m putting the ViVoGame review on ice until the farmers get back from their holiday. I don’t think it’s fair to review a gold seller in the middle of an important holiday. (See, I’m not a bad person!)

A little birdie told me that things should normalize by Monday. Oh really? Okay I’ll take your word for it, Deep Throat. Though isn’t it only the 5th on Monday? I thought the Chinese holiday ends on the 7th.

Anyhoo, peeps,if you have money to spare, can you please donate to the flood and earthquake victims in Southeast Asia? If you don’t know where to start, you can visit the official website of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies .

Please?

IMPORTANT FYI: CHINESE PEEPS ON HOLIDAY, EXPECT DELAYS

Kiddies, sorry for this very sudden interlude post but I gotta remind all and sundry that October 1-7 is a week-long national holiday for the Chinese.

What does that mean to us gold buyers?

A lot of sellers get their gold from the Chinese farmers (like you didn’t know that to begin with). If these peeps are gonna go on their much-deserved break , that’ll mean no farming. And no farming means not enough supply during that period.

Gold coins

You may go ahead and still place an order but heck, don’t expect miracles.  But if you’re not in a hurry and can tolerate a week of waiting…

Anyhoo, just don’t say you weren’t reminded.

VIVOGAME.COM: PAY IN 1 MINUTE, DELIVER IN HOURS? (1/5)

New review! Here’s some random site Remus pulled out of his ass a Google search for ‘wow gold’.

Vivogame.com

ViVoGame logo

So is it another one of ‘em minions? Ya know, a spin-off of some big player who for reasons not known feels the need to put up a web of little sites with funny names? We’ll soon find out.

So let’s check out our latest subject’s website, starting with the home page:

(Click for a larger image)

Clean template they’ve got there. And they have WoW gold news! Let’s check out their most recent post:

ViVoGames News

"The next expansion for WOW-Cataclysm is also waving to us." — /wave

"So wake up your heroes and be well prepared at any moments." — /sleep

Well prepared "at any moments", eh? Amigo, I’ve been well prepared for Cataclysm since birth.

ViVoGames Advantages

Most gold sellers claim their "5-minute deliveries" as their advantage over the other sites. This one says they deliver in hours. I don’t know whether to be pleased by their honesty or fret over having to wait for hours for my order.

One page you must always check before purchasing. The FAQ:

ViVO FAQ

Copy is giving me a bad case of deja vu.

"at last you will process to the last step: pay! Your job has done perfectly since you paid!" - ROFLMFAO!!!!!!

Of course it wouldn’t have been perfect for you if we didn’t pay, genius.

Moving on…

"It is great to get the gold when you are looking forward the gold to make your character stronger." — Someone give the copywriter a Pulitzer prize or whatever prize they hand out to copywriters.

"If you have any other question, please feel free to contact us. 24/7 Online Service."

ViVOGames Offline

24/7 online service. YEAH RIGHT!!!

To be continued….
