I think it's not a trend but it's their style of stalling customers. If they are able to deliver gold to you, then the others ahead of you should have been finished already. It's a matter of feeding a small amount to people to get rid of their hunger and shut them up from complaining. If you won't complain, you won't receive the rest of your food.
