READER’S REVIEW: GAMING4LESS.COM AKA WOWMINE REZZED FROM HELL (2/2)

As of this writing, Tracy has yet to receive the 1000 gold that Gaming4Less (aka Wowmine in a still unattractive package), said got "banned". They told her to give them another 12 hours to farm the gold. It’s been more than 12 hours. Tracy is NOT hopeful. Can’t blame her. As my own personal saying goes, "people on death row have brighter futures".

What’s freaking her out more than the missing amount is the possibility that her own account may have gotten flagged by the publisher for her transactions with Gaming4Less. Now I’m not sure if the publisher has a way of keeping tabs on who the banned account holder may have interacted with in the game, but nonetheless it’s a scary thought.

While honesty may be the best policy, as the cliche goes, it’s very disconcerting how Gaming4Less’ customer service could casually admit that their own WoW account - used to deliver the goods - got banned. Naturally, a customer like Tracy would flip and worry about the safety of her own account. I can’t help but wonder where the hell Wowmine, I mean, Gaming4Less went wrong that their account attracted unwanted attention from Blizz.

"Whaddaya expect? They’re Wowmine," said Cletus. "Hell, they can’t even cover up their own skinny asses that’s why Microsoft is  suing them for ‘alleged’ click fraud."

(Picture Cletus’ eyes rolling and his fingers doing the quote-unquote thing in the air while enunciating the word alleged . It was almost Homer Simpson-ish.)

Speaking about the Microsoft case, I wonder if the Dynamic duo (gee, wonder which brother gets to play the useless Boy Wonder, since both of them are so useless anyway) closed Wowmine and the other sites and put up Gaming4Less to escape their former behemoth’s tarnished image (made worse when the Microsoft lawsuit made headlines). IF that is indeed the case, then it’s an exercise in futitility, because it’s merely a new name, but it’s the same overflowing toilet bowl of sh*t.

It also appears that they were in such a hurry to get the site up and running that they lifted copy from another major gold seller, Goldsoon.com, plus their FAQ page is missing or broken. LOL!

Lifted Copy

Original copy

Wonder what the guys of Goldsoon dot com have to say about this (oh heavens, please don’t tell me you don’t mind because your friends or partners with the Dynamic duo!)

Broken FAQ

If I were the owner of that website (and thank God I’m not!), I’d be ashamed to put up a live site looking like that!

Hell on the other hand, if I were on the lam and needed money to pay my lawyers, I’d be desperate too to get my gold-selling site up and about, even if it means lifting copy and hiring third-rate programmers. *rolls eyes like Cletus*

Hey Tracy, really sorry about what happened. Try asking for a refund equal to the 1k they owe you. That’s what I would do.

Gaming4Less certainly lives up to its name. You end up gaming with less gold than you ordered. Not to mention you feel LESS secure about the future of your own account. Tsk tsk.

Till the next review, kiddies!
