@ Lestat: I didn't think to hover over the link. The email address actually looked authentic this time. Thanks for the heads up, I'll keep the sites in mind next time.

@ Hot: Roar indeed.

Make yourself covered with eyes when you receive that kind of e-mail. That's I always check the bottom left side of my browser to see if it will direct me to the correct web site.

Roar! :3

Zayda, this issue has been around for ages already. I've included some sites that posted this exact, same phishing email:

http://elliottback.com/wp/world-of-warcraft-phishing-spam-email/
http://mmogamers.freeblogit.com/2008/07/28/fake-blizzard-email/
http://wow.incgamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=415370
http://netflowninjas.typepad.com/blog/2009/07/a-warning-re-world-of-warcraft-account-phishing-and-battleverifynet.html

If I were you, I'll change my PW ASAP before they get a hold of it.

Be alert on links. Just hover on it so you can see where it is leading to. If it's something odd and "un-Blizzard-ly" like, then DON'T CLICK IT. The site where it leads to might contain a spyware that can get all your private information just by going to that webby.

Scan your PC for viruses and spywares ALL THE TIME!

Also, be aware of the spelling. Blizzard might be spelled as "B-l-i-z-z-a-r-c-l", "B-I-i-z-z-a-r-d" or something with those combinations.

Just take care next time. You can always contact Blizzard via their phone numbers.
