GAK! EXTENDED SERVER MAINTENANCE Plus Patch 3.2, Ya Dropping By?
Holy moly, there’s a big-a$$ downtime scheduled tomorrow morning, with select battlegroups starting 3 hours earlier than the rest of the pack.
Adam Holisky of WoW.com broke the news in his latest post (See below). Read it and weep if your realm is in the magic list. Er, a few of my realms are, which means our guild will just have to resort to washing our laundry and feeding our RL pets (if they’re still alive, that is). And of course, postpone your gold-buying spree till everything goes back to normal.
There’s a detailed server maintenance announcement for tomorrow, Tuesday August 4th. And off the bat: we still don’t know for sure if Patch 3.2 is dropping tomorrow… (EGF: aaaaaaaw)
All realms will be down from at least 3:00 a.m. PDT / 6:00 a.m. EDT until 11:00 a.m. PDT / 2:00 p.m. EDT tomorrow. However a large group of special realms will be down from 12:00 a.m. PDT / 3:00 a.m. EDT until 12:00 p.m. PDT / 3:00 p.m. EDT.

Luls. They extended the maintenance to 3pm PDT, which is 6pm for us east-coasters. And if you happened to be on one of the extended maintenance realms at the beginning, you’ve got a 14 hour downtime. At least 3.2 is out.
