RMT sustains the high prices, but the inflation itself if created by the players and blizzard. Every xpac everything inflates, Blizzard simply hope that a real market economy will rise out of the in game system, but it wont because there are far too many factors at work in teh real world market economy that WoW's in game AH system and player to player direct sale cant emulate.

Sure they are trying, making raiding more accessible etc but it isnt going to stop the fact that the most successful guilds will still dominate AH supply and will trend high prices to support themselves because "raiding is expansive man we have to buy all our mats because we cant spend hours grinding for our pots so we can kill stuff and then idle in Org for 6 hours on our fancy raid mounts, f**king famers man drive up all these prices it's ruining the economy" leaving a situation of one farmer with a low availability high value product crying about being screwed by another farmer who has high availability low value product.

The irony being it is often the low level alt of a raider who is farming these mats while levelling and profitting off the laziness or desire to raid all day instead of balancing raiding and farming to reach their goals.

Gold sellers arent the major parties to blame for rampant economic inflation, but they are keeping the supply of currency in step with the prices sustaining it.

@ ROFLwtfNoNewIdeas,

I completley agree with everything you have said bro!!! These websites are NOT repeat NOT ruining the game economy!! There is no way they can "create" gold on the server with out gridning and/or hacking peoples accounts. That said, the gold these companies sell are already on the server via other accounts, or they earn it the same way you can by grinding, etc. Stop with the argument that they are ruining the economy. The only reason this is an argument is because most people can't afford the best of the best gear that's posted on the AH and want to come up with an excuse as to why to don't go out and grind for ever to earn the gold to do so. Lets face it, who want to grind for weeks or months for a single peice of gear so we can get into that raid group and probably be dropped because we don't know the fight? All I'm saying is be smart with ALL your personal information. Make a new email account, get a prepaid phone (as mentioned above), change your email password and battle.net password regularly, GET A BLIZZARD ATHENTICATOR! There are plenty of ways to protect your account security. the poeple who are hacked and the ones who don't prottect themselves and they do something stupid, like give the email and use the same password for the gold sellers site as their own email, and then they get their account hacked. I honestly can't feel sorry for them at all. Just be carefuul with whatever decision you guys make. Good luck!!

Seriously.. everyone says one thing about RMT " IT HURTS IN GAME ECONOMY" yea.. they farm and grind for hours to obtain the money that YOU should be grinding for hours to obtain. it is legit gold( Excluding the hacked accounts which i have seen happen) But as for it hurting the economy, you are all fools. maybe you should look at the fact that a player based economy only allows items to remain at a high price, if a high percentage of the gaming community sets that price. if all of you greedy losers didn't follow the higher "RMT" type prices (I.E 30k for an ilvl 359 gear, cata expac) and say set it for something stupid like idk.. 100g. if 90% of the community set for that 100g.. there would be no sale at the 30k mark. an average quest yeilds 13-25g now at 80-85lvl. between 4 and 10 quests and everyone could buy those items.. which would emphatically end RMT on a whole for this game. So complaining about RMT is just a way of basically saying, Im a greedy loser.. but its all their fault that people buy gold.. and people who buy gold are supporting hackers.. TAKE A LOOK IN THE MIRROR. YOU PEOPLE ARE A PART OF THE PROBLEM

even though this is old i figured id reply. ive ordered from susan about 2-3 times now. the first time was a small order just to make sure i'd get my delivery, which i did. some asian woman called the number i gave them to verify who i was and that my information was correct before they even went ahead with the process. the next couple times (which were about a year ago since ive been broke) i made my order bigger and once again they delivered the gold. the larger order took a little bit longer so i emailed them asking if my order had gone through to them properly and they very quickly responded verifying they had recieved my order and that i'd be getting my gold soon.
what really made me want to reply was the person somewhere in the first bunch of responses talking about how those who were saying it wasnt a scam probably work for or are affiliated with the website. i dont know about anyone else, but personally i'm not affiliated with them in anyway. i'm just someone who plays the game and doesn't necessarily have a whole lot of time to farm, do dailies, etc.. so sometimes its a bit easier to get gold this way. now im not saying they wont scam you because i dont know that for sure, but i can tell you they havent ever scammed me. i wouldnt encourage anyone to use this kind of service though if they arent 100% comfortable with it.. even though theyve treated me great everytime i still get a little nervous when i put that order in.
-piece of advice: if you do try this method of acquiring gold.. don't be stupid enough to give them the same email/password combo as your account.. and dont use the same password you use for your email to sign into their site.. as a matter of fact its best to just make up an entirely new one.

yea... the site itself is not a scam, or at least not the 3 times i used it. they said they didn't call them for verification, but I got called and had to talk to them for like 5 minutes. I got the gold each time within hours hassle free. Now I don't necessarily know how they get the gold, but i know that I <3 Susan Express.

I just used SusanExpress if its not a scam, its at least a hassle and very unprofessional. I am mostly upset that they have my details and credit card (including phone number! scary!). Its been 2 days and they cant get my gold.

They give excuses like "We cant see the letter 'i'. please use a character without the letter "i"

ALL MY CHARATERS HAVE THE LETTER I! ITS MY FAVORITE VOWEL!

yeah, it was my mistake for beliving in a scam and not earnig my gold properly, but let this be a lesson to others!

Wow found out that I bot some gold and I got kick off the game all togetter. Four days later I got back onto my but the toon that I bot the gold with was gone & is still gone. I don't think I will ever see my lvl 80 warlock again. I sent this mess. to sussen & she still tells me that buy gold from them is ok. its NOT!!!
Gold Buying and Power-Leveling

We would like to make a clear statement about the negative impact of buying gold and using power-leveling services. Every day, we encounter players who have been negatively affected and targeted by companies offering these services. So, we hope to raise awareness about the practices they engage in and the detrimental effects they have on all players, including their own customers, as well as on the game environment as a whole.

What many people don't realize when buying gold is the large impact it has on the game economy, and also how the companies selling gold obtain it. Our developers, in-game support, and anti-hack teams work diligently to stop the exploits these companies use and help players who have become victims of their services. We regularly track the source of the gold these companies sell, and find that an alarmingly high amount comes from hacked accounts. These are the friends, relatives, and guildmates you may know who have gone through the experience of having characters, gold, and items stripped from them after visiting a website or opening a file containing a trojan virus. Our teams work to educate players and assist them in avoiding account compromise, but the fact remains that the players themselves are often these companies' largest target as a source for gold, which the companies then turn around and sell to other players.

Through our normal support processes and the assistance of players, we also find that many accounts that have been shared with power-leveling services are then hacked into months later, and all of the items on the account are stripped and sold off. Basically, players have paid money to these companies, sometimes large amounts, and they're then targeted by these same companies down the road. We come across stories every week of the aftereffects of players using these services, and some players now have to deal with long-term repercussions -- in addition to consequences such as possible account suspension or closure, in many cases the companies they paid use their personal information to perpetrate identity theft and credit card fraud. These are long-lasting effects on players' personal lives that can take years to recover from.

We also want players to recognize that these companies often employ people to do their work through the use of disruptive hacks in the game, which can cause realm performance and stability issues. The companies essentially take time away from our development and in-game support efforts as we work to stop their exploits and assist players who have become their victims in recovering characters and items. They spam advertisements, use bots that make it hard for players to find the resources they need, and raise the cost of items through inflation.

The negative effects these companies create depend directly on people using their services. Without them, the companies have no way to continue their unethical actions. Furthermore, it's important to keep in mind that players are responsible for what happens with the account they play on. Selling gold for real money and having characters power-leveled are violations of our Terms of Use and End User License Agreement, and we regularly take corrective action when we find that these services have been used. We hope the information presented here is helpful to anyone considering buying gold or using a power-leveling service; these are just a few reasons that those services can negatively impact World of Warcraft and other games, and we strongly encourage players not to support the companies that offer them.

Players who buy gold are supporting spamming, botting, and keylogging – activities that diminish the gameplay experience for everyone else.
