I am up bright and early and greeted by an email from George of WoWGoldPig.com ’s customer support.
As mentioned in my previous post , I sent them my thanks along with the following questions:
1. What other delivery methods do you offer apart from mailbox?
2. When did your site go live?
3. Why don’t you have Live Chat support?
4. Why did you choose the pig of all animals? Why not some classy creature like a thoroughbred horse or a Beverly Hills chihuahua?
And here are George’s answers:

3. We don’t have live chat support because we want to keep our prices low. Our prices are already 20% lower than the competition and we want to keep it that way.
4. We like pigs. They’re cute and intelligent creatures. Besides, wowgoldpig sounds better than wowgold chihuahua or wowgold arabian steed. :-p

I tried this crowd out over 30hrs ago and still nothing :(. only got a confirmation email from them.. No reply to my emails since either… So much for 24hr service. Are these guys really really real? I think I’ve lost money

Thor dude, I noticed your email address is a temporary one. Did you give these guys a permanent AND working email address for them to contact you?

Hi, yes sorry, I use temp emails on forums and such these days (saves on all the spam I used to get, can never be too sure who you give an email to anymore…but that’s another story).
I did indeed register a real email with “the pig” when I bought some gold. I got a response the other day (took about another 2-3 more emails eventually to their “payments” address instead of the support address). I was told they had no records of my payment or emails to them, until I replied with screenshots of the paypal receipt and automated email responses from their site etc.
I eventually got some of my gold in a face to face exchange but still left short by a good amount, they said they’d deliver the rest shortly and I’ll have a priority delivery…. a few days later still nothing. After another email I was told there is a general shortage amongst all gold vendors and they were caught up in this shortage… however in desperate need I used another provider (IGXE) and had a large amount of gold within 10 minutes (I was shocked at the speed though I didn’t get the gold via auction as agreed on IGXE’s site so bit iffy about that/them)…
Anyways I still await delivery of the remains of my gold from WoW Gold Pig. I’m sure I’ll get it some day but I’m going to be a bit more cautious of using them again. I think they are probably genuine now, but if they want any positive reviews they might want to advertise they’re gold shortage or possibility of a delivery delay on their site before a purchase. They might also want to sort out their payment system and on-site email system ( they claim they didn’t get any emails I sent from their website only the ones I sent from my address directly. I really do hope they improve, they have an excellent simple system (if/when it works) and excellent prices, it would be a shame to hear others had the same trouble I’ve had.

Can the pig respond to why I have been waiting over 168 hours for my delivery? I am upset. They are in over their heads. They have even told me they are having issues with their suppliers. They bit of more than they can chew. And yet, they still allow people to give them money and take ore orders for product they obviously dont have. 168 hours, that 7 days. Ahh, Im upset

Hey EGF! After reading these articles about Wowgoldpig, I decided to take a chance and order from them. I noticed that you weren’t required to be contacted for verification…but maybe things have changed, as I was called and asked for verification info. Regardless (I missed the first few calls due to work), after they successfully contacted me, within the next hour my 3k gold was delivered (by mail, no less). I’m definitely buying from them again!

Hi, I want to try the pig, but they don’t have my server posted. I wonder if that is because they don’t have any gold there or they just forgot…
As you know, you can’t contact teh pig if you don’t place an order and since I can’t order because my server ain’t listed, I was wondering if you have contact with them in the past, maybe you can let them know to re check their lists, they are missing servers in the US.

Hi, I hate to be bearer of bad news, but i have not had a positive experience with WoWgoldpig so far. Bought 15,000g…paid…and eagerly awaited my gold. But so far, 5 days have past and zip, zero, zilch..NADA!!! I have tried contacting them numerous times through their email and have yet to receive a reply. HELP!!!!! I want to believe you and I’m praying that this is all just glitch that they will hopefully make right, but as it stands I’m not too happy with the pig right now!!!

After reading I as well purchased some gold from WOWgoldpig. It took about 48 hours and multiple emails but eventually i got half of my ordered gold. I made my order on april 18th and I am still waiting on the other half. I have always gotten fast email responses but the send button on there website does not work well at all. Most of the time I have to click many times before the email is sent. I too was told that they are behind on gold and I would be put as priority. I think next time i will go with IGE because it seems the pig just can’t keep up.

For some reason my second comment did not post. I received a email from WoWgoldpig that is identically word for word the same as the email from IGE even from the same person.

Dude, woW Gold Pig doesn’t even offer Live Help. There’s no chat support. What are you talking about?
BTW, in order to de-clog the comments section, I’ve taken the liberty to NOT reprint emails/company marketing messages. Comments section are starting to look convoluted. Will do the same (edit/crop) if someone submits a lengthy chat transcript (from sites that actually offer Live help!)
People, I’m disappointed to hear your experience with the Pig was different than mine. But as I said, the recommendations here are based on MY personal experience.

Yup, couldn’t agree with you more. But regarding the ad, well, this site is supported by money from advertising. Rather than have inane Google ad sense showing the names of the undisputed king of Chinese scammers (cough, cough), I’d rather see the WGF medalists’ banners on my site….sites that made the grade. There’s no way I’m going to allow random ads showing text like “5-minute deliveries” or “$5/1000g” on WGF.

Just gotta add some pig lovin. I placed an order for 5000 about a week ago and received a goodly portion of it in little over 2 hours. Very pleasantly surprised as I placed the order around 1 am. Received a larger portion the next day. All by mail - no calls, no trouble. Now after the first 2 deliveries I was still short about 600 so I waited several days and finally emailed to inquire. Got an immediate response saying their records showed the full amount delivered but that they’d redeliver the remaining amount anyway. Totally recommend these guys!

I have had no issues with wowgoldpig. Well let me correct that I have always got what I paid for but the last two transactions I had with them I had serveral people try to make delivery of gold. I told them I had already was given what I ordered and they need to check back with the office. The last transaction was also a face to face transaction, but serveral days later I check my char I use as a go between and I noticed another 5k after I had grabbed all my mail.
Does anyone know how to contact them to correct this? I am happy with their service but they really need to track deliveries better as to not over/under deliver product.

Just gotta throw in my praise for the Pig. Mind you, the server I’m on is VERY populated. So I usually get my gold 1000+ plus usually, within the hour.
HOWEVER. I did play on a low populated (aka new) server and I guess because the demand isn’t as high there they actually do have to farm the gold there. Now, as much as I would like 5000g to drop into my lap in a new server, it’s just not gonna happen. After around 4 days, I got my gold.

ordered 3000 from these guys, got it within a hour and some change, no BS, no phone calls or whatnot. Like it was said, there is no indicator as to how they will deliver, and they don’t have much of a customer service side, but for me it all worked out. Ill definitely buy again

I ordered 3k gold from both WowGoldPig and IGE at the exact same time and received confirmation emails from them with consecutive order numbers…WoWGoldPig is affiliated with IGE no doubt. I challenged the pig in a separate email to beat IGE in delivery and neither site has delivered yet. I am going to have to agree with GhostViper here. Same company. One just charges a heck of a lot more than the other.
…and here I thought I was supporting the little guy…
