GAMINGEXE.COM: NO LIVE HELP, ALL CRAPPY EMAIL Plus Who’s Ace? (2/4)

I am pissed beyond words how Gamingexe.com’s Live Help is unavailable. I hate writing emails to Customer Support. The real action is in live chat or phone calls, though I prefer the former because I get to see (and take screen capture images of) how well a rep can handle real-time pressure. As sadistic as this sounds, I like asking stuff which I think is not covered by their library of canned responses, just to check if their "best-in-class customer service" is really, er, best-in-class. The best agent, in my opinion, is articulate, unflappable and thinks on his toes.

Unfortunately, the agent who answered my next email didn’t fit that mold…and that’s putting it mildly.

I sent a second email with the following questions:

From: Extreme Gold Fan

To: service@gamingexe.com

Subject: More questions

Before I purchase from you people, I would like to know the following:

1. Where are you located?

2. Are you an American company?

3. Who are the owners of Gamingexe.com?

Sorry but I think as a consumer, I have the right to check out the legitimacy of a company before I buy anything.

Several hours later, I got this:

From: service@gamingexe.com

To: Extreme Gold Fan

Subject: Re: More questions

Dear Extreme Gold Fan,

Thanks for your email . Gamingexe.com is Hong Kong basiced company which has branch located in LA ,California . The owner of gamingexe.com is Ace Run Limited .

I’m guessing it was the Hong Kong-"basiced" office that wrote back to me.

Whoever wrote this also didn’t answer my question "are you an American company?" Gamingexe.com, you are sooooo evasive.

And the owner is….ACE RUN LIMITED ? Who’s Ace? Is he related to Randy ? Does Ace like to run off with innocent people’s money, just like what Randyrun.com did to my poor friend Cletus’ hard-earned dough?

Oh the humanity!!!

Anyway, I’ve thought about it kiddies, and yes, I will proceed with this latest gold-selling site review of mine.

In fact, I’ve just made a purchase! :p

I’m kinda bugged about the face-to-face delivery schedule limited between the hours of 5 and 9PM PST. Has it slipped their minds that there are WoW players in the Eastern seaboard?

And oh yeah, this really cracked me up. Nice to know they won’t ask for my gold back once they’ve given it to me. It’s very reassuring.

Bad sign? Eh, we’ll see, kiddies. We’ll see.

    I love your site’s new design! It does kick ass! :)
    I don’t think Gamingexe.com is an American company. I believe it’s 100% owned by the Chinese.

    Nothing against the Chinese but we all know how you fared with those Chinese-owned sites (and one German site).

    What else can I say expect maybe you should buy American from now on, just to pump up the economy. Hehe.
