GAMINGEXE.COM: WHO’S MINDING THE STORE? Plus 4 Business Days To Refund??? (1/4)

My body clock is whacked for some reason. I stayed up until 1:00 AM. Slept for 4 hours. And now I’m here writing this new post on Gamingexe.com, some random site Remus selected for my next WoW gold-selling site review.

I actually checked out Gamingexe last night, and was impressed by the clean, easy-on-the eyes look of their homepage.

Gamingexe.home page

Their tag line though boggles the brain:

"EVERY GAME STARTS WITH .EXE" Huh? Was your copywriter trying to sound profound or something?

Ah well, let’s not dwell on that. It’s too early in the morning to bitch. Yawn.

I would just like to point out something amusing, though. If you look at their Order Express feature on the home page, you’ll see the little box with the text beside it that reads ‘Want 5% off?" Out of curiosity, I unchecked that discount option and when I went to the next page, the discount was still applied . Ah, these guys win brownie points with cheapskates like me. :D

How interesting that you can order even just 100 gold from them. Most, if not all, sites, start with a block of 500g.

And of course, since I’m not your average visitor (I ALWAYS HAVE TO VISIT LIVE HELP!), I, er, clicked on Live Help to test the quality of their customer service (not so much on their English).

That’s not my real name, kiddies.

Now I know I said a few lines ago that I wasn’t going to rate their knowledge of English but I didn’t say I wouldn’t make fun of them! =p

"Welcome Steven Geffen-Katzenberg! Hold on please. - Um, okay….

"It is now being connected to the Customer Service Center." - IT??? I’m a human being, goddamn it, and don’t talk to me in the third person like that tranny Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs !

"If there is no response, it could be either during peak hours or the representatives are away for a while." - You mean like every friggin’ one of them? Who’s minding the store? Is the onus on all Gamingexe managers to pick up the chats?

I guess even the managers are "away for a while" because I got this:

"Online Help is currently not available. Please send us an email and we will reply to you as early as practicable." - Do you know how stupid the last part sounds? You probably don’t.

I clicked on their Live Help several times, and several times I got the same little pop-up window telling me the same crap. I was forced to fill in the fields and submit my questions:

1. Why is no one from Live Help answering? I want to chat with someone!

2. How fast do you deliver?

3. Are you offering 5% off on all WoW US servers?

4. If I don’t get my order, how fast do you refund?

And heeeeeeere’s the reply I got from service@gamingexe.com (received in less than an hour, amazing!)

Dear Customer,

Thanks for coming to us! Sorry for the disconnect.
The delivery depends on how much gold you buy. It would be fast if your oder more than 1000. It’ll take 2 days, but we usually deliver soon after we get your oder. Maybe few hours later.
Yes, you can enjoy 5% off ,just button of the vochour.
We’ll deliver your gold safely, if not we’ll refund in 4 business day.
Welcome back with any other questions.

Sincerely,
Gamingexe Group

Oh come on! 2 days??? What are my chances of getting my gold with "a few hours"? Slim to none?

Well, nice to know I can enjoy 5% off; all I have to do is "button of the vochour", whatever the hell that means.

This is the clincher: refund in 4 business days.

FOUR. BUSINESS. DAYS.

That is so lame of you, Gamingexe.com. Refunds can be given in a few minutes. What’s the 4 business days for? Please don’t make me say the s-word that has four letters and ends with an "m".

Dare I proceed with this review?

Lemme think about it, kiddies.

Hmm having a live help option and yet no actual live help to help you with anything. Maybe you caught them on their lunch breaks lol.

I think they should also make some revision of their tag line from Every game starts with .EXE to Every game ends with .EXE — executable file, hell right?
