IGE.COM: MESSING WITH AN OLD-TIMER Plus Cary Is Da Woman, I Mean, Da Man! (1/4)
I’m doing something which I should have done a long time ago:
Review IGE.com , considered by its closest competitors as a moribund dinosaur about to kick the bucket.
In the same way I don’t believe in kicking a man when he’s down, I don’t get my jollies from tearing apart a company that’s pilloried left and right….unless said company offends me first, and then I’ll let everyone in that company, and I mean everyone including his grandmother, feel my wrath.
Unfortunately for IGE, today I am in a foul mood. Brogame hasn’t refunded me. I got a hold of that Catherine again who said to wait for 5 days to get my money back, then the biatch dropped the chat!
Unfortunately for IGE, with me being in a foul mood no thanks to Catherine of Brogame and Brogame itself, I need to let off some steam.

I see they have slightly updated the look of their home page though I still think it could use a little more spiffying up. Emphasis on the word "little" as I hate clutter and too much color. Anything overdone would make any gold-selling site look like the album cover of Magical Mystery Tour .
But the basic design is so old and that banner up there has been on IGE’s home page since the Triassic period. Oh well, those IGE folks are probably thinking: if ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Interesting promo we’ve got here…
As low as $14.95 for a thousand gold. WoW US only. Not bad. But the thing is, the phrase "as low as $14.95" has a catch. Possibly only one server has the $14.95 price tag while the rest could have prices that are a couple of dollars higher.
I’m learning, kiddies.
"Lightning fast deliveries". That’s what the other guys are saying, amigo. Different lyrics, same come-on message. I’m not biting.
"The Best Customer Support." Really? Let’s test that claim in a few minutes. Does "best" mean "most patient" too? It better be…
Nothing aggravates more than being pestered by upstart gold sellers via spam disguised as comments to my blog posts. Ha!

Cary P. is making me laugh. I am being such a turd and he still has the stomach to be pleasant. See how many times he’s mentioned placing an order at their site? Slick hard-selling that doesn’t come across as hard-selling. This guy is amazing!
Dare I say that IGE’s customer service deserves four and a half stars out of five?

Now why do I feel like Simon Cowell just before he made that very public apology to David Cook?
Oh God, the guilt. There I was posing as a reverend and an abominable one at that…and I still get rewarded with impeccable customer service even if I sure as hell didn’t deserve it.

Hey, nice blog you got here. I just found this last night and I gotta admit that this just made me think of playing WoW again. I never knew that we can buy gold and with a website such as IGE, I bet I’ll be cared for like a real good customer. God I wish we had this kind of service when I played WoW. from the looks of it, the customer service is real good, i don’t wanna place an order on another website that has Customer support that DOES NOT SPEAK ENGLISH, the words are English but all i understand is :

IGE is FINE. At least better than all the other god-damn sites around. Their agents speak good ENGLISH. Delays are inevitable, at least I don’t get frozen until I get the order. My recent order at Brogame is horrible! So horrible that I wanted to crash my own PC! Talking about getting reps, I guess, IGE has a good taste (they don’t use out of this world smileys).
I guess that’s enough for me.
I just placed an order I hope to get it so soon. I saw their promo, I am so excited to be the chosen one. *chuckles*
Talking about effort. I give IGE a B (for now.)

They’ve improved a lot over the last few years. It’s very nice to see.
And very scary for everybody that thought they could beat them out by being smaller, faster, smarter…
Now IGE is fast and smart… but bigger in the scary kind of way. What ya gonna do?

I don’t think I’ve read anything in the last month that made me smile and fill me with as much glee as your blog did. I recently just purchased 1000g from IGE, and I have high hopes for them. They’re prices seemed to of dropped from when you posted this last year. I’m not a religious man myself, but I find it very heart warming seeing you two connect as you did.
I hope I run across other posts just like this one in my near future.

So, I’ve been looking around, have have tried at another website to buy gold but got banned on WoW for half a month……
You can probably see why that has made me skeptical of the type of services provided.
Having that said, it is nevertheless a very attractive service if proved to be…… legit.
I am just wondering if anybody else has bought and received without any troubles or bans from WoW.

I have been using their service for years now and eventhough sometimes there are delays, I always get what I ordered. Got no suspensions or bans so far.

I just had a great experience with them, bought 8k gold on executus horde, got it within 6hours. One downside is that i didnt see an option for face to face trade and so they mailed it, even after i told the Live support person that i wanted it face to face and not in the mail. But besides that amazing job.

Hmm okey well that’s funny, because when I used IGE’s services, I got hacked a month later?.. I mean.. Yeah.. I’ve been playing since open beta and this was the first time I used a gold/power-leveling site, and I’ve never been hacked before (DO YOU SEE?)
